Welcome to my personal website. I am bringing together extensive experience as a researcher, author and educator across some of the world's leading institutions to provide leadership coaching alongside education and training as well as public speaking.
I am a UK Licensed Medical Doctor and UK Registered Public Health Nutritionist with over 20 years of professional experience. My specialist interests are in applied human nutrition, cardiovascular disease prevention, health systems education as well as global food and nutrition security. In over two decades of being research-active, I have been involved in successful grant funding of ~£28M either as a principal applicant, co-applicant or named advisor and have produced over 100 peer-reviewed outputs, delivered several hundred key presentations, including a vast range of conference abstracts, contributed to impact case studies and have been an editor/co-author for several textbooks.
Throughout the years, I have decided to invest in evolving my professional profile with a strong interdisciplinary and collaborative focus. A key aspect of my strategy is an empathetic approach to managing groups and leading individuals and groups of experts through extensive collaboration, focusing on effective communication as well as nurturing crucial interpersonal and leadership skills.
